Bilingual edition with German and English on facing pages; English translation by Stephen Garmey and Jay Wilson. With a previously unpublished translation of a letter from Rilke to Witold von Hulewicz replying to his questions on the Elegies; translated by Stephen Garmey. Set in Van Dijck and Lutetia types, and printed on an 1865 Albion handpress. Book design by Joel Friedlander. Illustration by Liza Casey. Edition limited to 260 copies: 10 (numbered 1-10) on sheepskin parchment; 50 (11-60) on handmade Wookey Hole paper; 200 (unnumbered) on Rives Lightweight paper. All editions bound in linen-covered boards; gold-stamped spine and front cover. Parchment copies in black cloth-covered clamshell box. 6 x 9 inches; pages (xii) 74 (5).
